Dig Haunted Items Launch Notes and Early Patches
What JSK Games actually shipped in month one of the haunted museum.
Month one of Dig Haunted Items is the whole public history so far. JSK Games opened the Roblox universe on August 6, 2026. By early September the experience had hundreds of thousands of visits, a verified group behind it, and a client bump on September 3. These launch notes freeze that window so later patch pages have something to compare against.
For the live tracker, use the Updates Hub. For how to play the systems that launched, use the Guides Hub.
Systems present at launch
The description on the Roblox page was already the design doc:
- A haunted forest as the only farm.
- A shovel as the luck/power tool.
- A sprayer that removes dirt and dark magic.
- A museum plot that attracts paying visitors.
- Upgrades for shovel, sprayer, and plot size.
- Curse stacked with rarity for risk and reward.
- A relic count advertised as 50+ from Common to Forbidden.
Nothing in that list is delayed content. It is the live loop. Beginners should still follow Getting Started because the HUD order is not obvious on mobile.
Badges that prove extra machines
Badge copy is patch notes you can trust:
- First Haunted Item! — digging works.
- Use a Haunting Table! — an upgrade table exists and you must collect the output. Guide: Haunting Table.
- Index 50% Complete! and Completed Index! — a collection log exists and 100% is rare. Guide: complete the Index.
- Uncover Secret Treasure 7 — a seven-day daily exists. Guide: daily rewards.
If a feature is not on that list and not in the store copy, we do not pretend it launched. No official PvP. No split-screen. No confirmed public code at research time.
Robux catalog in launch month
JSK Games also shipped gamepasses between 9 and 17 August 2026: Instant Clean, Auto-Dig, 2x Power, 2X Money, 2x Luck, 2x Speed, and a VIP row that is not for sale. VIP servers are off. Treat those as launch-month systems even if early wiki drafts missed them. Live prices and buy order: gamepasses. Official Auto-Dig is not an executor.
Economy at launch
Gold comes from selling duplicates and from visitor rent. Gold goes to tools and tiles. That is the entire sink. How to make gold is the income walkthrough. Players who spent month one on decor had pretty plots and weak shovels. The upgrade planner is the correction.
Luck, if you can buy it, sits on the shovel and on short shop strings. We did not confirm a working string in September 2026. When one appears it will be on codes, not backdated into this article as if it always existed.
Social at launch
Max players: 6. Online co-op only. The players hub exists because people still ask for local co-op. It is not in the product.
September 3 bump
The universe updated timestamp moved. No public essay. Practical effect: rejoin servers, re-check Shop, assume auto dig hubs died. If you lost a collect prompt on the table, that bump is the first suspect.
What we expect next (not confirmed)
Studios in this genre usually add: a named shovel row, a luck code, extra relics, maybe a second dirt biome. We will not write those as facts until they ship. When they ship, a new dated section will land on the Updates Hub and the relic tier list will gain names instead of stages.
Launch month was enough to learn the verbs. Everything after that is Shop numbers and Index gaps. Play the loop. Let the timestamps move.
What month-one players actually struggled with
Public complaints clustered around the same five things this wiki already pages:
- Shop hidden until a full cycle — how to redeem.
- Dirty relics that would not stand — how to clean.
- Table badge not popping — collect the result.
- Index not moving — sold Commons.
- Feeling poor — tutorial shovel plus vanity.
None of those required a hidden quest. They required the loop in the store copy. If month two adds a second forest, start that dirt for Index names and keep this launch kit as the baseline. If month two is only a silent timestamp, keep digging. The verbs did not change on September 3; only the servers you should hop off of did.
New players arriving after launch month should still read this page so they do not wait for a Trello that never existed. The product is already the haunted museum. Getting Started is the onboarding. These notes are the history.
