Dig Haunted Items Gold Upgrade Planner

A buy-order that beats decorative gravestones in the first week.

Upgrade Planner

Gold in Dig Haunted Items comes from duplicate sales and museum visitors. It wants to disappear into coffins, fog machines, and extra fences. This planner is a buy-order so the next purchase raises relics per hour instead of screenshot quality. Use it with the shovel tier list and the museum guide.

It is not a spreadsheet of fake prices. Shop numbers move after client bumps (see updates). The order does not.

The default order

  1. First paid shovel — leave the tutorial blade. Largest luck/power spike.
  2. Sprayer speed — if muddy relics are backing up after a forest loop. How to clean.
  3. Empty stands — keepers should not live in the bag.
  4. Shovel luck breakpoint — next blade that lists rare/Forbidden chance.
  5. Plot tile — only when A/S pieces have nowhere to stand.
  6. Haunting Table rolls — gold plus a duplicate, not gold plus your only Forbidden. Haunting Table.
  7. Vanity — glowing bottles, extra gravestones, fog. After the museum already prints.

If you cannot afford step 1, do not buy step 7. Dig another circuit. Claim daily rewards.

Branching rules

Digging feels slow / only Commons → shovel, not decor. Walk deeper too (how to dig).

Bag is all mud → sprayer, not shovel. Instant-clean codes count as a temporary sprayer.

Keepers in the backpack, stands full → tile or extra stand, not a new blade.

Front stands are Commons → you have a layout problem, not a Shop problem. Rearrange using relic ranks on the relic tier list.

You want the table badge → one cheap duplicate, then stop spending on junk rolls.

Gold sources ranked

  • Visitor rent on front-row S/A pieces — best passive.
  • Selling logged Commons — best active.
  • Daily chest — reliable, small.
  • Shop codes — burst, still unverified on 7 September 2026.
  • 2X Money — a Robux multiplier after the museum already pays. Catalog: gamepasses.
  • Scripts — not a source, a risk. Script safety.

Official Auto-Dig and Instant Clean are time savers, not gold sources. Buy them after the gold shovel, not instead of it. Income walkthrough: how to make gold.

Spend rent on tools. Spend sold Commons on tools. Spend vanity money only when both of those feel automatic.

A one-minute audit

Ask:

  1. Am I still on the tutorial shovel? Buy shovel.
  2. Did I spend more time spraying than digging last session? Buy sprayer.
  3. Are unique models sitting in the bag? Buy stands.
  4. Is the next shovel a luck upgrade? Save for it.
  5. Am I about to buy a coffin skin? Do not.

Write the answer in chat if you play with friends. Online co-op will not pay for your blade. Six players can all be broke together.

After a patch

Re-run the audit. Shop rows shuffle. A “new” shovel that only changes color is still vanity. A new shovel that lists luck is step 4 again. Log new relic names on the Index checklist before you sell the gold that would have bought the blade.

What this planner refuses to optimize

  • Flex skins.
  • Filling the plot with forty Commons.
  • Auto-buy macros.

Those are not upgrades. They are hobbies. Hobbies are allowed after Forbidden is on a front stand and the Index is at least halfway. Until then, buy power.

When JSK Games publishes stable gold costs, we will pin numbers next to each step. Until then, the order is the tool.

Two example wallets

Wallet A — 800 gold, tutorial shovel, muddy backlog. Buy the first paid shovel if it is under 800. If the shovel is 2,000, buy sprayer speed instead and dig two more loops. Do not split 800 across a fence and a bottle skin.

Wallet B — 12,000 gold, decent shovel, empty bag, pretty plot. You already failed the planner once (the pretty plot). Next purchase is the luck breakpoint blade or a stand for the Forbidden in the backpack. If neither exists, bank the gold through one more forest day rather than “finishing” the graveyard theme.

These wallets are not prices from a datamine. They are attitudes. The Getting Started player is Wallet A. The screenshot player is Wallet B. Be A until Index 50% pops, then you can dabble in B without starving the shovel.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Shovel or sprayer first?

Shovel if you still swing the starter. Sprayer if mud is the bottleneck. That is the whole branching rule.

When do I buy plot size?

When A/S keepers have no stand. Not to store junk. See the museum guide.

Should I spend Day 7 gold on decor?

No. Put it on step 1 or 4. Daily rewards are for tools.

Do luck codes change the order?

They are a burst, not a Shop row. Redeem, dig, then resume the order. Codes.
